Sunrise Photography

Got up a bit early to try and catch the sunrise. Below is what happens when you can't get command over (color film) reciprocity failure.
(Not sure how it'll look on your monitor- I'm using an iBook set on "Millions of Colors" at 1024x768. Don't ask my brightness/contrast settings 'cause it won't make sense!)

Camera: Nikon FE
Lens: 80mm
Film Speed: ISO 200
Aperture: F 5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/30

I'll be getting up early again to reshoot, with Plux-X this time.

How'd this morning go? That shot above does look pretty good.

I ended up changing plans. Took off in the afternoon to Carrizo Plain National Monument for late afternoon/evening shots. If you've never been there, it's quite a sight. (the San Andreas Fault is scary in what it can do)

Just got home 15 minutes ago. After more than 400 miles of driving, I'm beat! (it's now 11:40)
Now I have to get the Plus-X to Main Photo in Santa Ana for processing.

Thanks for asking.

Here's another sunrise photo from a couple of weeks ago- also in the San Joaquin Valley.
