Pics....

Getting over the Sierras.

Mono Lake

For one short stretch, Hwy-168 presents you with a one lane road through this cut.

Looking across a desert valley from Hwy 168. Most awesome Mini road and twisties ever. ....and yes, I've been on the Dragon!

On top of the parking garage at Palace Station.

On the way to Temple Bar.

Becky, Tracey (Taligator) & Ryan (Ipeverywhere) at the Mixer.

The four Minis at the SCCA Autocross on Saturday: Jim's, Jeff's, Ryan's, and a girl who's name escapes me at the moment, but I'll fill it in later.

Jeff about to go out. I didn't get his screen name.

Gromit after a long day having a blast with SCCA.

Yah, but didn't it hurt your nipples pulling it off?

Thanks for the link. Kelli won "Most Likely to be Impounded." I think it was an appropriate title for her car. Here's a quick recap of the weekend:

Oyster bar and then big beers in the pub ( I only had two beers)
Absinthe on the top floor garage
Crashed Simon and Nichole's room to get out of the wind and drink more absinthe
Bloody mary morning thanks to Kelly
Some girls got tied into corsets by a pinup model at Bad Attitude:

(This is her)

Thai for lunch
Stopped in to Lady C leather and fetish store
Impromptu dance party while staging for the strip run
In n Out Burger before partying on the top floor garage
More absinthe
Big breakfast before bed at the Cafe
Up early for the car show
Detailing and Absinthe
Kelli won the "Most likely to get Impounded" category in the car show
Discovered Capriatti's deli
A Mustang GT got a little embarrassed
Corsets, Kilts, and absinthe at the banquet
Three hotties strolled the Casino
The K G's made some extra cash at the pub
Dice were rolled
I won a $160 at the blackjack table
More absinthe
Breakfast before bed at the Cafe
Impromptu fashion show at the Bettie Paige store with the same pin-up model that tied the girls into corsets

VIP passes to the Playboy Club/ Club Moon at the Palms where we were treated to bottle service by DJ Beej
Rescued a "Welcome to AMVIV" sign from the lobby
Breakfast before bed at the Cafe
Oyster bar before hitting the road on Monday

Thanks to all those that we hung with, talked to, and lifted a glass with. I'm sure I forgot other things after going through a bottle and a half of absinthe, but it was a heckuva ride and there are some things that happen in Vegas that are staying in Vegas. We can't wait for the next one.

We also want to Thank You Sin City MINI. We had a blast! This was our first AMVIV, although we were registered to attend last year but a new job sorta got in the way We are already talking about coming up next year and maybe dragging some of the other MINI folks we see around here in Prescott, AZ with us. The more the merrier right? What's not to like about AMVIV? Friendly people, great MINI's, Las Vegas.... maybe the traffic is a bore, but that's about it.

Se ya next year!!!

Great view from our room on Saturday afternoon:
