Zumanity Anyone??

I am trying to get a group rate together for Wednesday, March 26th for a Cirque Du Soleil show. I currently have 6 people confirmed (poss. a 7th) and need at least 12 total to get a group rate.

Show location is at the New York, New York Hotel & Casino and show times are at 7:30 or 10:30.

At this time, Im trying to gain interest from other people but will be posting more info soon.

A 10% discount will be applied to the $79 and $99 tickets for groups of 12 or more confirmed at least 30 days prior to show date. Hopefully the $99.00 seats will be closer to the front of the auditorium, but I am currently waiting for a phone call back from the group sales desk to confirm/verify more information for me. I'll post more when I hear back from them.

I purchased tickets on the 13th of January and got front row seats for the 10:30 showing on wed. 26th. (99.00 tickets) I would purchase your tickets soon if your looking for some good seats. I've heard this is a great performance.

Save your $$$! I've seen this show, it totally sucks. If you think "adult" means "sexy", that it ain't. Think Star Wars cantina scene, what if someone made that more "adult" - bunch of weird aliens in skimpy outfits - maybe kinky but hardly sexy. Personally I prefer humans. And I went to the 10:30 show.

It's a Cirque du Soleil show, and those are always a little unusual to the masses. Most of the people I've talked to who have seen it liked it.

There are five Cirque shows in Vegas running concurrently - the original at Treasure Island, O at Bellagio, Zumanity, Ka at MGM, the Beatles show at Mirage. I've seen the first three. Zumanity kinda killed it for me - no interest in seeing the newest shows, the last two, after Zumanity. Of the ones I have seen, I thought the original was the best, with O a not too close second. But to each his own.

Well, after several phone calls to the "group rate desk" at New York, New York & the Cirque Du Soleil sales desk and inconsistent information/aggravation from everyone that I spoke to, I decided to drop this idea. That's okay since I wasn't able to get the amount of people for a group rate, so it worked out in the long run.

I was however, able to get a group of 7 together for the 10:30 pm showing on Weds, March 26th and got 1st row seating behind the sofa's if anyone else planned on going and would like to join some other MINI peeps. Dinner plans TBD - pm me if interested.
