Here's an excerpt from Agro's email describing the Excursions for those who missed it:
You know that there are "all day" runs on the Thursday and Friday. For
those who don't want to leave the action at Palace Station all day, we have organized a few "AMVIV Excursions". These are trips to a few of the cool places that Las Vegas has to offer that many tourists don't even hear about, let alone visit. I'm adding the details to the website at www.amviv.com but here is a quick rundown.
The Shelby Automobile Museum - you all have heard of Carroll Shelby,
the man behind the Shelby Cobra, Shelby Mustang and many other classic
pieces of American muscle. The Shelby Museum takes you on a tour of the
actual place where these cars are designed and built. It is a free tour
starting and ending in the showroom containing some of Mr Shelby's personal collection. This excursion will depart from Palace Station sharply at 9:45am
on both Thursday and Friday. You can find more info at http://www.shelbyautos.com/tours.asp
The Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden - after his
"retirement" from the M&M company, Forrest Mars launched a gourmet line of chocolates and named it after his mother, Ethel. The free factory tour now draws more than 700,000 visitors a year. This excursion will depart from
Palace Station sharply at 1:00pm on Thursday. You can find more info at http://www.ethelschocolate.com/jump.jsp?temID=117&itemType=CATEGORY.
The Pinball Hall Of Fame is the public side of the Las Vegas Pinball
Collectors Club and showcases over 200 pinball games in perfect working
order from nearly all eras of pinball history. All games work and cost what
they did when they were new to play. This excursion will depart from Palace
Station sharply at 1:00pm on Friday. You can find more info at http://www.pinballhall.org/page.aspx

Annette's talking about going over for lunch. The Thursday night Motor In is going to be in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street this year instead of at In n Out. The location is Hennessey's Tavern. The menu is on their website at http://www.hennesseyslasvegas.com/

In n' Out is the first thing I'm doing when I arrive in Vegas Thursday afternoon! Can't wait!!! (just ask my husband...it's all I've talked about)
You're coming to Las Vegas to spend the weekend with 400+ MINIs and all you can talk about is a burger place? I think your priorities are a little skewed.

Would I get better milage if I had less fun?

Las Vegas Weekly just listed their 2007 Reader's Choice Awards, and the first category is Best Hamburger, won by.........IN n Out!
I like Fatburger too, but they wind up costing me $8 for a burger, then I have to get fries....
Can't beat In-N-Out for value. Fatburger's music is better though.
