Affiliate Confusion

If I have a passenger in my MINI, do I need to set her up as an affiliate when i sign up? I know I'm going to register, but do I need to make her an affiliate if she wants to go to the dinner and such?

Thanks guys!

No, you don't. Affiliate registration was created to fill a perceived demand for people to get the vendor goodies in a registration without all the cost. An affiliate won't get a copy of the route book, but will otherwise be pretty much the same as a full registration. There is also a separate "affiliates only" prize drawing with a couple of small prizes to be given away.
If I was attending (as opposed to helping run the event), I wouldn't get an affiliate reg for my wife, because she really isn't into the MINI thing and doesn't care about the goodies.

See, Agro, you need a wife like mine. Swears she's not into the 'MINI/Mini' thing, as she points out one more, oh, and 'this might be something nice'...

I figure as long as she gets all the goodies she could want, and a special drawing where I couldn't win, it's almost as good as getting her her own MINI (which will probably be the second production year of the Traveller/Clubman).

Well, she's decided that her next car is gonna be a "premium brand" like a BMW or Lexus or similar. However, she's happy to keep the Subaru until it turns 10 (another 3 years), so it's not all bad.
She was excited for me to get my classic Mini though.
