Still haven’t gotten my prize from the AMVIV banquet

With numerous attempts to call, email and pm the guys from Webmotorsports, I still haven’t been able to get the set of plugs I won from the banquet night at AMVIV. I did get randy to respond once via PM on NAM, he said he would have them out for me. This was over two months ago and no one will respond to me.

Can some one please help me?

Let me see if I can get hold of him. Do you have your car yet (not that that makes any difference)?

I think he headed home Sunday or Yesterday. Give him a few days to catch up and then you should be all good

This is why I thought while at the banquet that the "need not be present to win" thing was a bad idea...

Maybe next year, you will reconsider that rule. Not to mention that it's no fun for the people in attendance to not win anything while those not there are making a haul.

We had many complaints last year from people who were drawn who were not in the area at the time. No matter how these things are done, someone is always mad coz they think they got ripped off.

Melissa, I left a voicemail for Randy to call me back, hopefully I'll hear from him soon.

I'm not mad...nor do I feel ripped off. I just thought it looked like it was going to turn into a lot of extra work for you guys when you had already done so much.

I was there when i won the prize :(

They didnt have the prize there, Only a card that says to call Randy@ WM.
I've called several times. One time I talked to him but he was on the road and couldnt write my info down. Then I talked to him throw email, and gave him my info. After that, i've called and left messages. I gave up and posted my thread in hopes of getting attention from others to help me in my tiny quest.

thanks Agro for calling, I'll let u know if i hear any thing

This is a very sad situation, I have seen more threads than I can count with people that cant get in touch with Randy! I know he is a great guy and has alot going on and I know I will get flamed for this but how can you keep customers happy when they can never get in touch with you due to the fact that your always on the road? Wickedgolf has been waiting for over two months on a prize that was promised and to me that is NOT professional at all, sorry for anybody that thinks I am crashing on Randy cuz I am not I am just making a point that if your going to run a business either you or somebody needs to be there @ all times to handle not only orders but customer concerns.

Kendal, I understand exactly what you mean. I like Randy, hell, I let him stay at my house for AMVIV 1, but this is 2 years in a row that I've had people who won prizes from him contact me a couple of months later asking me to get onto him to get them their stuff.

We're going to have to do something different next year.

Well, did they GOT their prize yet???

Now the question is;

Is he coming BACK to do it again to some other MINI driver???

Just my 2 cents,
Keith (that classic guy)

Yes, Melissa got her prize.
Yes, he's coming back.
No, he won't be doing it to some other MINI owner. All prizes are to be delivered to the organizers prior to the event with the exception of a few "custom" type prizes (roof graphics, photography, ECU flash and the like).
