Race Gas pumps in Vegas?

Are there any pumps/stations that sell race gas, unleaded 101 or better?

I hope someone knows. More than likely there should be some available at LVMS...but if I could pick some up somewhere else, that'd be awesome.

I had asked the guys in the club who would be likely to know with no response. I'll ask around again.

Most Rebel gas stations in the Las Vegas Valley sell 100 octane (or better) Lamd Blvd & Charleston being one that's going out towrds the track.

I'll do some "motoring" this weekend and find several for you guys and post the locations sometime next week.

There are several locations out by the track (LVMS) that are open all hours of the day.

More later...

Todd

Cool. Thanks Todd.
Todd was one of the "guys who should know" that I asked earlier. I guess his response got lost in my mailbox.

Alright...

I got up extra early this moring and turned my 15 mile commute to work into 40 mile, fun-filled and fully productive adventure.

Here's the scoop.

I have found two Rebel Oil gas stations (that's 76 or Unocal for most of you in other states) that have "Racing 100" for $4.99 a gallon at the pump. The first being on the southeast corner of Lamb Blvd & Charleston Blvd, which is IMHO at little out of the way, but the second one is a mere 6 minute drive (4 miles) from Palace Station. It's on the Northeast corner of Charleston Blvd and Jones Blvd. http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?newa...y=us&oerr=3003

Anyway, you can save about a buck a gallon for the 100 octane if you buy at one of theses stations, as the gas out at the speedway usually goes for about $6.00 per and I believe the 106 was slightly more last time I was out there.

Hope this helps...

See you guys in a few weeks.

Todd

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't put in the good stuff... I'll need a fix when I get back home. I think there are a few gas stations locally that have the higher octane gas.

Hey Guys, It Gets Better....

After heading over to the Palace Station to check-out a few things for our event, I discovered that....

THERE'S A REBEL STATION THAT HAS RACING GAS THAT'S WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE HOTEL!!!

Sahara & Valley View...just a couple of lights up Sahara from the where the festivities are happening.

Don't know how I missed it before.

Thanks for the extra research. Sounds like we'll all be addicted to the high octane...

I was thinking more of the expenditure of fuel and the aftermath.
