I got up extra early this moring and turned my 15 mile commute to work into 40 mile, fun-filled and fully productive adventure.
Here's the scoop.
I have found two Rebel Oil gas stations (that's 76 or Unocal for most of you in other states) that have "Racing 100" for $4.99 a gallon at the pump. The first being on the southeast corner of Lamb Blvd & Charleston Blvd, which is IMHO at little out of the way, but the second one is a mere 6 minute drive (4 miles) from Palace Station. It's on the Northeast corner of Charleston Blvd and Jones Blvd. http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?newa...y=us&oerr=3003
Anyway, you can save about a buck a gallon for the 100 octane if you buy at one of theses stations, as the gas out at the speedway usually goes for about $6.00 per and I believe the 106 was slightly more last time I was out there.
Alright...

That Rebel station is going to do so much business in the three day weekend we're all there!!! I've never ran "race" gas in the my MINI... I hope that I don't get spoiled!

as I told a recently tuned mini owner...If you have an addictive personality ....don't do it....you won't nessisarily notice it when you do it...but when you go back to 91...you will...LOL...he called a week later....."dood, I'm addicted" LOL...good stuff
Yeah, I guess I shouldn't put in the good stuff... I'll need a fix when I get back home. I think there are a few gas stations locally that have the higher octane gas.

Is this Kalbone you're referring to? He's too yound and innocent for this type of addiction.
Hmm... Chris and High octane... Some one take pictures

I was thinking more of the expenditure of fuel and the aftermath.
