I'll be at AMVIV Shooting the weekend long event for a web-exclusive article on our site. If you have any thoughts or personal story from past AMVIV events please let me know. The more I can learn from you, the more I can write.
This will be my first of many MINI cooper events I plan on taking part of. I've had my mini on order since OCT. I won’t have it till the end of April. But that's not going to stop me from enjoys this great community of motoring people.
This will be my first Mini event as well and I really look forward to it. Once you get your hands on your Mini, mod-addiction will be your new hobby. For me, so far I've spent over $5k on my new SB MCS since Nov.

The thing I remember most about last year, was the total ease of relating to the other owners. It felt very easy to walk up to anyone there! Also even though we all have the same "Mini" make, I have yet to see two that are alike! It is great to see everyones personality come out in their cars, comthing you can only do in person!
AMVIV I - a little disorganized, getting lost on a run, unbelievable beauty of the countryside when you get out of the city, the wind during the meet at the park, Penn Gillett showing up in his "stripper pink" MC, the view of the "MINI Parking Only" parking lot from the 5th floor of the Stardust.
AMVIV II - the mass of MINIs one encountered when driving up the ramp to the 3rd floor of the parking structure, the noise level at the Haufbrauhouse, the site of 150+ MINIs driving down the parking ramp and out the back entrance of the Palace Station to go on a run, trying to take it all in (going on runs, checking the installs, talking with vendors, looking at all the MINI goodies), enjoying the camaraderie, the fact that someone could get into the wrong MINI at the Valley of Fire parking lot (how many times would that happen at your local shopping mall?)
AMVIV III - Frappr map, number of caravans heading to Vegas

Looking forward to going to AMVIV 3 and then reading about it on Motortrend... I can't wait to see the photos. I know there are a lot of people shooting... as well as myself. I can't wait to see all the great shots! We'll have to put something together-- best of the best photos?
How about Domminic getting arrested at the Dam for tresspassing last year

In fact many of the claims begin to sound ridiculous to the objective mind. Of course, Squealer's mission is to keep everything subjective in the minds of the animals.
