We have a real shot at getting the legal alcohol content for beer raised from 6% to 14% in Alabama so that we may enjoy all the beer from around the world that we are not allowed access to but (without getting political I will just say) in the next 10 days (or sooner!) people need to go here & fill out a short form letting them know we want it. Time is of the essence & if you want it, it is really important that you be counted & heard.
If you are opposed to such I totally understand & withdraw my kind request. Even if you don't care please do it as a personal favor for those of us that do. You can even copy/paste the following statement into the form to make it easier on you. It will only take like 30 seconds ...
I am writing this to ask that you please sign into law HB373 which was just passed by the Senate today so that Alabamians may enjoy the same freedoms that our neighbors all over Southeastern United States do in having the freedom to choose which beers we would like to drink. In addition to allowing me the freedom to choose, this will be a revenue booster for the great state of Alabama.
