Car show are always a challenge because of exactly what you encountered- crowds, lighting, time of day, etc. The cars are there to be shown however and a lot of care has gone into prepping them for admirers. The same can be said for motorsports- too many obstacles (lighting, time of day, fences, etc.)
Let's not forget preparation prior to ownership. I'm talking about the craftspeople that've put their creative souls into
designing the automobiles we drive.
Design is what sets cars (and most other products) apart. I feel that we as photographers can help remind others of this. We take close looks at the craft that went into
designing a particular vehicle and its parts- the lines, interiors, trim, and so on (which you and others here have done in photos posted every day on this forum). Then we highlight them through our images. (
