Oil after Dragon

Anybody else notice their oil being a lot darker after the trip to the dragon and back and from the intense runs through the dragon itself? I checked mine before I left and now its a lot darker. The oil was changed back in february so it would be kinda early for me to do my own change now, but I'm tempted.

I changed mine at 15000 miles, and had about 18000 on the odometer going into MOTD. Now I'm at about 18600, my service interval went from showing 1500 miles remaining when I started the trip to 500 miles remaining, so I'm going to be scheduling my first service this week, where I'm sure Siva will get brand new oil. Perfect timing, eh?

I'm kinda wishing I had a kit to get the oil tested to see how much life is left on it...

Yeah that is good timing...I wish mine had barely any time on the service. I Had about as fresh, clean oil you could get because it was super flushed out. I had the 1 year service because I hadn't hit the milage yet, so new oil, and then a few months later it was time milage wise so new oil again. But that was february. Our oil does get really dark tho and is still healthy, but I am very reluctant to not just change it. It says I have about 7000 miles till service. Idk if thats talking about a full service or for something else like breaks or something. Right after the first milage service is said 9000 miles till service which isn't their typical oil interval

Hadn't thought of that. I'll be getting a change this week then! Thanks! And it's not under warranty, so I'm not waiting for the interval.

For the past few days I swear I can smell the oil at startup. I've smelt it when checking the oil and its the same thing I'm smelling at startup. Tonight I noticed its present at the head of the engine and right out the exhaust, but not so much after I've driven.
