I've never had the slippery leather problem since I switched to the Zaino-brand leather cleaner and (separate product) conditioner. I used to experience it a bit more when I used Meguiars Gold Class Leather Treatment.
I can't imagine that you would completely get away from it as you are adding oils and waxes to the hides to keep them in good condition and moisturized. Oils and waxes are naturally slippery (duh!).
It's a good question and I'd love to see a side-by-side comparison: Which leather conditioner best preserves hide quality and grip.
I'm sure, though, that someone will be along shortly to point out that if you wanted maximum grip, you shoulda gone with cloth.
