Its called "winter" (not trying to facetious).
Not good to keep the salt on the car but this isn't like the 1960s and I doubt the body will start to rust because of it.
HOWEVER, when possible, I'd try to wash the salt off. Get a bucket of water and just give it a "microfiber" sponge bath for the salt. Try to rinse? I would try to get the salt off.
