Brew Swap THANKS...

There's a lot more people to thank this year than usual. Namely all the attendees, all the volunteers, Casanewt & Mistro.

First, thanks to all the attendees. Your $15 registration enabled us to send $2,3xx.xx to the charity. On top of that we had $300 in profit from the T-Shirt sales that went as well putting us over $2,600. That will provide materials for over 250 students in the Reading Soulmates program. The tally may be higher due to some walk-ins and if so I'll post it later. I thank you and the Boys & Girls Club thanks you.

Second, to the volunteers. You guys did me and everyone a huge solid by helping to run the swap. Without you the event wouldn't have gone off so well and that isn't just fluff. Imagine just two people working the door AND handling everything else that comes up. I really, really appeciate you all for what you did. If I can return the favor please just let me know.

Third, Casanewt aka Greg, without whom the Beerlympics would not have happened. Ok, so it didn't go as smoothly as we hoped. In the grand scheme of things that doesn't really matter. I know the teams looked forward to it and thank you Greg for allowing it to continue on for a 2nd year.

Last and certainly not least, Michael Stroz. When I put it out there that I wasn't coming and needed help I didn't get much response. When I posted that we might need to cancel the event Michael graciously stepped up and offered to run the show the night of so it could continue for a 3rd year. Without Michael the charity would have lost out and all of you beer lovers would have lost out. Michael, we ALL thank you for putting on a good show this year and for helping beer lovers enjoy their addiction.

If you have comments or recommendations please use the other thread to post it. If you'd like to thank some Brew Swap people or patrons then feel free to post here.

Thanks again to everyone!

Matthew
