It might mean PUNKed and OWNed at the same time...
Nothing would come up on a Google search or Wikipedia

Very early in the morning many years ago in a Counter-strike server shut down long ago, some kid mispelled "owned" because p and o are next to each other and everyone ran with it, without remorse, and it has never stopped.

I think I was in the server when that happened

LOL...thanks Blimey! I don't know about that but I'm just hoping to make a good showing! I do have a few surprises in store for the car show though...we're working furiously to put the finishing touches on this last month before the show! I definitely can't wait!!!

Thanks,
Celia

Oh, carp.

As Basil Fawlty would say,
Well.... that's IT, then...

Like you needed any more stuff... geesh... careful, you'll make Aaron cry....

Can't wait to see your new stuff. That's gonna be the great thing about this show. Lots of great cars with great touches... and every car unique.

Let have a little fun. Add up all your mods and then give the total. I'm at $10,400 in Mods and parts. Now that is with two set of rims added in.

It's so dependent on what I count and what I don't. If I count "accessories" (many of which are in or on the car at one time or another) then the total is higher... but I'm in the $7K-$12K range... I have a spreadsheet...

Oh yeah... and I got my "agranger horn" today... it's so cool, I might have to break my promise and install it before MOTD... but his will still be better-er with the cable pull...

I'm afraid to add mine up. Just the JCW Sound Kit and painted aero kit alone come to $3400.

LOL...it's really a few interior mods and engine mods to kind of tie things together. We did some of it today and I am REALLY digging the way it's coming out!

I don't really want to add my stuff up either. I'm in the $15,000+ range

I've got an Excel sheet of my mods running at the office... I haven't updated it in a while, though. I'll have to take a look and update it tomorrow. It might be grounds for divorce, though, if I post the total!

Just remember, it's all about a well executed mod plan... not just $$$ spent.

I bet mine is more of a POS than yours is. Hell, I bought mine with mushroomed shock towers. I'm still showing. Maybe we should start a "My MINI is a POS" owners group. I love my rat rod!!!

Absentee ballot?

How about starting a thread with images of all entrants (including the POSs) so I can vote from my couch?

I'll do you one better..There is a website called Flickr and me and a few others will be posting our pictures on there if you would like to check it out.
I personally won't have access to the internet while I'm there but I promise I will load it up with all kinds of pictures from MOTD as soon as I get back.

Flickr Group - MOTD 2008

P.S. Everyone attending is welcome to join and add your pictures to this group.

A quick slightly off-topic question - can anyone tell me about internet access at the Fontana? I plan on bringing our laptop but is there DSL ports I can plug into? Either maybe in the cabins or possibly in a main lobby area?

Thanks,
Celia
