minor scratch in leather

My '05 MCS has lapis blue leather seats . . . which were flawless until today when yours truly accidentally brushed the wrong end of the ignition key against the front of the passenger seat . . . leaving a very slight but definite abrasion on the surface of the leather.

No one will probably ever notice this but me, but I'm curious as to whether conditioning will remove the scuff. Can I buff it out with a good conditioner or am I just going to have to get used to it?

Thanks
