It's a national MINI/Mini event...one for East of the Mississippi River cars and another for West of the Mississippi cars. Old and new Minis of all shapes, sizes and years are encouraged to attend. It's fun, and this year's festivities will be in Alcoa, TN, right before Independence Day. Just think...yet ANOTHER chance to head on down to the Dragon, while also enjoying MME.
Ohhh yeahhhhhhhh...already made my reservations! Wifey has even agreed to go to Dragon with me for a day...hehehe.

MME2007 or Mini Meet East is the 32nd annual gathering of Minis on the east coast. For 2007, those of us in east Tennessee are hosting our Mini and MINI friends. My guess is around 120 or so classic Minis and however many new MINIs want to come out and play. This is an opportunity to see about every classic Mini variant, from the Moke to the Midas.
The event begins June 28 with an evening drive to Gatlinburg and ends on Sunday July 1 with an autocross. In between is a popular vote concours for all models, touring rally, funkhana, RC car races, BBQ picnic, movie, swap meet, etc, etc, etc.
Register soon because the late fee starts with entries postmarked after May 24.
