All...This was my first Dragon, and it certainly DID impress, even in spite of the rain.
My daughter and I both brought our Minis...hers is a 2K4 MC, and mine is 2K5 MC, both bone stock. We got to run the Dragon south on the way in Thurs. nite, North in the dark on the way out early Sunday morning (5:15!), and early Sat. A.M. both ways. Nasty with a bit of wet oil on the outside of the south-bound curves!
Met lots of neat folks, picked up a TON of info (which was one of the prime reasons I came), and my daughter and I had a generally great time.
One dissapointment was Thursday morning, just starting the Helix Minicup3, and not having an emergency escort vehicle, which had been promised back in January, by Main Line Mini (Bala Cynwyd Pa.)....I'm just glad we had no problems going down, other than 5 hours of drivin' in the rain! Fortunately, Jim McDowell from MiniUSA attended the Sat. nite banquet, so he now knows about Main Line Mini dropping support....maybe he can get those folks straightened out!
Looking forward to next year MOTD 2K8!
