How to remove dog hair from carpet.

I currently work at Volvo as a detailer. Although I am not a professional yet, I can do certain things, such as a cut-polish (except on a black car, need a little bit more practice).

Here is a tip that I learned from my manager, who was a detailer in his earlier years in the automotive industry.

To remover dog hair from carpets, like the stuff in your trunk etc.
1) Get moisture on your hand, just a wet your hand.
2) Rub your hand in a circular motion on the carpetted area that has dog hair.
3) The hair will form into a small ball, and you just pick it up and throw it out
4) Vacuum the little hair balls and the excess strands of hair.

Remember, do small areas each time, the area of a cd is good. Also, people use brushes to try to get dog hair out...bad idea, it only removes the top layer, and pushes some hair even deeper into the carpet!

Kinda bored, felt like sharing.
