Anybody thought of doing this? I usually use absorber chamios to dry off my MCS and they work great but as with any drying process its a bit time consuming.
Well this past week i was having my clear bra installed on my one week old 05' MCS. My installer of course gives the entire car a quick wash before bringing it into his install bay. Then he breaks out one of these!
Black & Decker Blower Vac
Sears item #07174044000 Mfr. model #BV4000
Powerful 230 MPH blow speed, and 380 CFM. Push button conversion plus easy empty bag design. Anti-clog vortex vacuum system. 10 to 1 mulch ratio. 2 speed switch.
All i could say was "WOW, Why the hell didn't i think of that!?" He had the car spotless and incredibly dry in 3 minutes! One pass of the roof, bonnet, and sides... BOOM super dry MINI. The best part is that it was one less thing touching and rubbing the paint that could possibly cause swirl marks and scratches! He also says its great at knocking water out of all the little cracks that usually drip out when you first move a car after a wash.
Me and a few friends are now itching to buy these!
