Does direction matter when applying Zaino?

Does it matter if one applies the Zaino in a top to bottom movement on the sides and boot, front to back on the top and bonnet or is circular application OK?

I spent many hours yesterday and today applying several coats so I had plenty of thinking time.

Does it really make a difference in the outcome? I tried to stay with the technique described above but found myself using all of them at various times. Any input will be appreciated.

It turned out fantastic. The best she's ever looked, after 22K miles, even with several blemishes on her face.
