Thanks for your feedback. As far as detailing goes, we will be focusing on the Meguiars product line first. While my inquiry was MINI related, the plan is to be on various classic cars first--thus showing how to properly detail, remove scratches using PC's and off the shelf scratch removal products, as as full product line usage on various enthusiast vehicles. Of course MINI's and Mini's included.
The second part of that question regarding maintenance on the MINI's was more of an inquiry than anything else. That is, I know there are tons of articles out there--I've written dozens myself, however I still see tons of misinformation regarding basic car care being disseminated to newbie MINI owners--I mean, I went through it myself when I got my own MINI or even just lack of good information that isn't so biased about a particular product being the best. With waxes and polishes, it's so much about the techniques rather than the products themselves. I mean, they are all good for the most part, and differ in subtle ways, but a complete everything you wanted to know about detailing on your enthusiast car is what's lacking IMO.
And good articles and writeup are hard to come by. I mean, I put up a very detailed article on changing your brake pads a few months ago because despite there already existed some articles, none really assumed you knew absolutely nothing about the process.
While I would tend to agree that there is a lot of information already out there, I wouldn't go as far as to say people wouldn't pay for something that's comprehensive and specifically targeted at them for their application. In any case, the first videos we are producing are actually slated for local TV anyways, so it will be free to watch.

Everything is covered in text, and there are numeruous videos on various sites for almost everything - from washing, to claying, to polishing, etc. A nice video with everything in it, or multiple segments produced by the same people would be sweet, but smart people know you don't have to pay for that info.
I'm not sure what your intent is, so if you weren't thinking of selling something inthe first place - disregard!
I think it would be cool to see a complete detail process - strip, wash, clay, polish, wax, etc. for various product lines. Do one car with all the Zaino products, do another with Mcguires, do one with the stuff most people use (cheap stuff from Wally World)...show common mistakes - loading up an applicator pad on an orbital buffer, reusing towels, not letting polish dry/cure enough, etc...definitely would be a fun project to put together!
