?Best Cabin @ Fontana?

Going down to the Dragon again in a few weeks to show some biker friends. This time I want to get a cabin for the 8 of us. Which cabins were really nice so that I can ask for that specific one?

Look at Fontana's website, but I would recommend the Azaleas. Make sure to get the cabins with a/c (I think the Dogwoods don't have a/c and are the older, "quainter" ones.)

Have fun there!

We have never been to the Dragon yet, but we made our res. with this resort and they have cabins. They seem very nice on the phone and have a nice web site.

FWIW...they are just about booked for next years MOTD.

But please do not hold me to them since I have not been there.

I've been to the Dragon 10 times. Stayed at Tapoco Lodge the first time, and it was very nice, but gets booked solid way in advance and has fewer units than Fontana. Fontana has been undergoing major remodeling since the new owners bought it. It's very comfortable and on a fun road, too.

Thanks guys. I've been there three times now but I get the same room at the village and have no clue which cabins are nice. I've heard some were a little run down. A/C is a must!! Thanks for the tip.

Okay, there was a ton of people at this last MOTD so I'm looking for exact cabin numbers. I heard one cabin had a room full of spiders so they never used that room. I need that kind of info guys.

I'm in cabin 526 right now, and it is fine. Have been to Fontana since 1991, and do say that if you have an issue, let them know, and it will be fixed! The Inn has been refurbished, and there are alot of changes going on.
