There's wireless here in the lobby, heard a rumor that next year it will be in the rooms and cabins.

Crap

Just went out to finish a little more Dragon Prep and the power steering pump is just wirrrrrrrring away!

The pump did the "intermittent failure" last night on the way home and after searching the forums and talking to the local MINI tech; I think I'll limp home tonight and wait for the new part to arrive.

So, If someone could do me a favor????

Please, if you see Clo, Pat, DeCrema or SamJ, or anyone else that might be saying, "Hmm I wonder where Smokey is?", that I will not be there for the welcome festivities.

The new pump is scheduled to arrive via FedEx tomorrow. So I should be able to swing by before work on Friday night, but at the very least I'll be there Sat morning.

Thanks,
Chris

Hey from Microtel!

Free Wifi here too! 11hr drive or so today (left SoFla at 4:45am and arrived at 4pm) and i still got to go up and back down the Dragon one time in the dry, with almost nobody else on it! Wow what an amazing road! The G forces through some of the banked corners are amazing! People aren't kidding when they say its a roller coaster for cars!

I'll be posting a full days report in a little while. Gotta be quick because i gotta wake up at 6am to go wash the ride!

Wanting to get there. I lost my fuel pump in Nashville and I am stuck here until it is fixed which should be tomorrow afternoon. Driving all the way from Dallas. Car is at MINI of Nashville. Sales is great. Service is not! I told them I was on my way to the Dragon and they still took over 3 hours to look at my car even after the tow truck dropped it off! Then I had to ask if it was going to be ready to day. They said no, tomorrow at the earliest. They dont have the part in stock!!! *BUMMER* Trying to get to Fontana before its over!!!! *arrrrgh*
