Good time of year to go to Disney too..............I turn into a kid all over again there.
I just can hold my alcohol a bit better now.

That's great, what part of NW Georgia are you coming from. We had a vacation home in Ellijay a couple of years back.
Dalton..........the BIG city around these parts....

Hello from Colorado!
Is anyone by any chance interested in a co-pilot for the weekend or for Sat or Sunday??? I'm flying to Orlando & thought maybe I could borrow/rent a car from Downtown MINI (I work at the dealership here in Colorado), but for insurance reasons Mike Torre (manager) can't let me take one.
I'm easy to get along with & will be glad to help out with gas.
Thanks!
Shelly (shellbell)
Hey Snooter, quick question, this is a "family" event, correct? I'm bringing my wife and two girls (10 and 13) I thought we could sneak a day into Disney World for them if we had time.
On a side note, I noticed you are in Spring Hill. My parents just moved from Spring Hill to Brooksville. Gonna stop in and see them right before M&M.... perhaps we can caravan together (assuming there's a bunch of ya'll driving over)
Mark

We have several folks bringing their kids. Friday we mostly hang out and socialize in the parking lot and have our car show and then the welcome dinner at the hotel. Saturday most folks with kids sign up for the scavenger hunt. We have you running all around the disney marketplace looking for items. We got great feedback on that last year. Depending on how long you are staying, you could take in a park on Sunday or Monday or miss the scavenger hunt and do a park on Saturday. I would recommend the Sleuth Mystery dinner on Saturday. You get dinner and a show with unlimited soft drinks, beer and wine for $20.00, plus it a funny, clean family show.
Since I am sadly the only member in Spring Hill, there is not much of a caravan. I'll be heading over on Thursday afternood since I'm one of the organizes to get a leg up on things.
Hopefully my husband will be able to come with us; he's in NSW so his scheduling is not always planned in advance, lol. But I did pay for him, just in case.
Add Art & Donna to the list, free ticket to Epcot expired today, so have signed up for the Scavenger Hunt, also for the Sleuth Mystery Dinner.
It says 10PM for Friday night Poolside Party, but 8PM for Saturday "Dive-In" Movie Pool Party, so Sleuth Dinner nixes the movie?

Yup , but after seeing the "Dive-in" movie last year, I've signed up for the Sleuth Dinner. The movie was nice to hang out on the lounge chairs with some fellow MINIacs, but the screen was a little hard to see due to ambiant lighting and the sound was sometimes hard to hear. I have been to the Sleuth Dinner before and really had a good time
