It's not called Fontana Village for nothing!

Enjoy what you reserved, the 'cabins' are quite nice.

I made my reservations for this May while I was checking out in Oct., at the Fall of the Dragon, 2004. For anyone who has not gone before and who is even mildly interested in going, I heartily recommend!! What a great way to learn what you and your MINI can do, AND, there is just so much one can see on the driveabouts, especially if he/she is like me and gets turned around easily. LOLLOL While I was "pretty" tentative with the driving at first, I feel I got better as the days passed, and even "kept up" with the group on the way back. It was HUGELY fun, and I felt very privileged to meet a great group. Just can't wait for May to roll around!!

I'd love to, but I don't think that we cross paths? I'll be leaving from Northern VA.

What kind of rooms do they have? I have heard of people getting a single cabin as late as last week while I was only able to secure a room at the Inn two months ago. I hope they're not withholding better accomodations for more important people

You have to realize that the reservations situation is quite fluid. If you'd like something else, call back and see what is available, or ask them to let you know if someone cancels accommodations that you'd prefer!

Oh, trust me. There are no "more important people".

I know as of my conversation this morning that they have 10 Dogwoods; 10 New Dogwoods, and 7 magnolias (which are 3 bedroom cabins). I know they've had these for a bit open for us; but may have had them blocked off for some reason 2 months ago. So if you want a cabin -- CALL.

Hugs,
PB
