Just in time for the END of MITM3, the weather in the high country has turned on us. You missed it by....THAT MUCH....as today, there are light flurries reported on both VAIL PASS and at the Eisenhower Tunnel...both popular routes for our MITM3 attendees last year.
High of 43 forecast today in Frisco, check it out:
Somewhat unusual, there has been rain for 2 days and cool, cool weather on the Front Range as well. Heck, rain around here is unusual anytime. We always have to scurry about looking for those seldom-used umbrellas and impermeable outer layers....
We consider ourselves lucky that you all joined us and did not suffer too much from our weather.
Yep, Springtime in the Rockies, wait its Summer.. ?? It has rained so much down here (Springs) even the ducks are pissed. Not me, I still prefer this to hot, stuffs on fire, weather!

And for those of you who did Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mtn. National Park last week, the news reports that this week it's closed with six inches of snow...
Look at this. My friend Sheryl just got back from visiting her mother in Colorado--she left the week after we got back and took this picture at Copper Mountain/Frisco on August. 16.
Good thing we all cleared out the week before!
