My rigorous grille badge testing is complete (see test photo below). Several bugs (literally) remain, after a test this morning on the Western Dragon (MITM Ride #3), Loveland Pass (part of MITM Ride #2) and some of I-70, it's ready for public use. I am happy to report that this grille badge, manufactured by CooperFlags.com exclusively for MITM held fast and did not budge one bit, even after several body slams (fatal) by several determined bug. It has a thick, thick and almost dangerously strong magnet. The vinyl has a clear coat for high altitude use (closer to the sun) and adds 1/2 hp, even with hitchhiker bugs stuck to it. Later today, it will get the car wash test, but for now it's getting the heat soak: 100+ deg. record heat in Denver. I'm confident it will hold up for as many Colorado rides (hot, cold, straight, curvy) as I can throw at.
These custom MITM 2008 Grille Badges will be sold for a nominal price at the 2008 MITM event (at check-in and welcome booth) Thur-Sat (Aug 7-9), while supplies last. MITM and MINI5280 is not responsible for the magnet strength hurting pets or small children.

of the new GB. Mine made it thru the car wash today unscathed.
It should not go without mentioning that not only did CooperFlags do a killer job on the official GB, but they also supplied us a few dozen other ones as give-aways.
Of course, the vendor dinner being at Winter Park on Friday, they will be given away with other vendor schwag at WP, likely to those who participate in the 'Olympic' celebration and submit a quiz for scoring.
