To shield or not to shield

I am debating getting the invisishield for my BRG car and would like some feedback please. Is it worth the money it will cost? What does it protect against? It has a 5 year warranty..what does that warranty cover? And finally, I got a quote from the local dealer for $597 to install the bumper and bonnet pieces (basically I guess the front of the car). Is that a reasonable quote? After just buying the car (it is a month old) I am really strapped for cash, but also don't want to wait if it is something that is a good investment. Any feedback would be most appreciated! Is it worth the money?? I love my car and want it to look perfect as long as possible!
