Great! Nancy and I will be there! There is still time for suggestions so how about investigating a camping option. We almost camped this year but I couldn't see myself taking Sweety back to the campsite, say past Leadville, and leaving her alone with the bears and owls to race back to Mt. Evans nekkid! But I bet there is a field somewhere . . . over by the bus maintenance yard . . . I'll bet camping at Cooper would be a hit with a bunch of us. Just a thought.

Congrats though on the economy housing. Some of us just want to sleep outside or is it just me?

Do notice that the event

will now begin on Wednesday....evening. That allows for a full 3 days of Motoring and some additional events that were not part of the first 2 year's agenda.

I can't wait. Planning begins in about 3 weeks.

Jonathan and no, I am not in the t-shirt business this year. But you can be.

Where do I find info on where to stay? I checked availability of lodging in the area on the internet during those times and the website said nothing was available then.

I really want to make the drive from Seattle. Help!

I just talked to Copper Lodging

and as usual, they are very nice. They are wide open the week of Aug 6th and you are welcome to call there. Note however that we have not yet posted the lodging options for MITM3 and there will likely be some discounts involved. We expect to have the lodging ready to go on or about March 1 with registration for MITM3 open on or about May 1 or so this year.

Please contact Copper at 888-219-1406 and at www.CopperColorado.com and they will gladly help you.

Note that many of the activities are centered around the Copper Village and Burning Stones plaza, if that helps you geographically. However, the further you get from this point the easier the rates get. Be sure to look at the summer and winter resort maps that are posted at the Copper site, above.

Thanks for the inquiry, we are glad to have you.

Might not make it this year. SPOON was in an accident Saturday. A truck ran a red light and t-boned SPOON. As of now he is undriveable.

If you see a grey Nissan Titan being driven by a young blond female stay as far away from it as possible if you value your MINI's life.

Count me IN! I wouldn't miss MITM for my life. OHH and if things go as planned i might have a suprise while i'm there!

This year, hopefully i won't get sick, and have to stick with the vendors. If things go well, i'm going to try to hit as many of the runs as possible, and Webcast them Live for others to enjoy while we're, motoring. Will also try to do it or the dinners as well!

Won't be at Vegas though...

nthwolf,
Sorry to hear about your car.............
feel free to come up anyway & "party" with us!!! I went to AMVIV last year with no MINI (or car PERIOD), & everyone was great. If I wanted to drive or be a co-pilot there was always someone to accommodate me!
We'd love to have you there!!!

I'm way up north, but I'll try to make it. I have to get Nigel in for a service during the first week of August, so maybe I can do the two at once.
