Highs around 70

predicted for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Bring light layers. Bring a few layers, and long pants and shoes, for Mt. Evans at Midnight. A light pair of gloves is not a bad idea...

Hey...in Colorado, does a "20% chance of thunder showers" mean the same thing that it does in San Diego; that the weathermen have been out drinking and there's no chance in hell of rain droplets, much less thunder showers?

Just wondering if I should bring an umbrella (if I have one....in storage).

Actually, no.

20% chance of showers in Colorado means "20% somewhere in your viewing area" which for us stretches from Billings, MT> all the way to Albuquerque.

Around here, if we want to know the chance of showers, just feel for the humidity. When the humidity goes sky-high (like right now) which is about 25% then if you look outside and see dark clouds, there is a 20% chance it will rain on you, 80% chance it will not. See, much of the rain dries up anyway before it hits the ground.

My wife lives and dies per what the weather(lady) says here. She watches her twice a day, and I refer to them both, and anyone else who believes them, as "alarmists" which is what they are.

If if weren't for the fact that she was terminally cute, I might not watch at all. The weather, I mean.

And yes, bring the umbrella. A little fold up one is all you need.

NOAA

... pretty accurate and they seem to predict our "5 minute weather state" better than most (yep, wait 5 minutes and it will change)

Looks alot better than last years rain, but it's beginning to be our rainy season again with the most recent moisture...

Hey! You guys will get to see Colorado in all her pretty green glory!

Another thing about cool air

is that your Intercooler will be happier at that temp. Problem is, it is not happier at this altitude and with the thin air. Especially so up Mt. Evans.

Be SURE to bring layers and light gloves....trust me, it is nippy up there.

It's been rainy for the past couple of days in Denver, as well as the mountains.

Cars are gonna get wet, and Detailers Paradise/OctaneGuy will be seeing some busy times, is my guess ;)

I was just checking various weather sites. The Weather Underground says it will be in the 60's, The Weather Channel says the 70's and AccuWeather says it will be in the 80's I guess it will be whatever weather you want it to be!

Pretty much!! F.Y.I. If it does rain, higher altitude means closer to the clouds means them drops are freaking cold!!

Today was perfect

70 at the tunnel, 74 at Copper and full sunshine with a few scattered clouds. Light cool breeze, perfect for Colorado.
