MITM ~ Ride # 4 ~ Winter Park and Berthoud Pass Loop

What a ride! 153 miles and about 3 hours, plus lunch. Go clockwise from Copper to Dillon / Silverthorne and along the Blue River. Explore Kremmling, Hot Sulphur Springs (stop for a dip!) and Granby. Then pass Fraser (the nation's icebox in winter) and into Winter Park for lunch. Head up over Berthoud Pass (Colorado's first ski area) and down to I-70. Take the Interstate back to Copper.

Side Ride: at Loveland Valley, consider taking Loveland Pass for pictures on the Divide, then down into Keystone and around the lake to Frisco. Then a short hop to Copper.

Extremely scenic ride.
