Need clarification on dates/times

I've read through the overview and it really doesn't cover this:

I'll be leaving MN early on August 8th, and I haven't decided which way to come yet, thinking of going through South Dakota and then head South. I just wanna take a scenic route the way there , I would arrive sometime on the 9th. Also since the dinner is Friday, whats actually planned for the 9th?

Is there a particular time set for when I should be arriving there? I plan on attending the first dinner and possibly the second depending on if the person coming with wants to or not.

I will most likely be staying in nearby Frisco as far as the hotel goes so I guess whats the best way to do this?

I'm coming from MN too! (Well, actually from WI, but less than a mile from the border, so...)

I'm planning on driving through to Ogallalla NE (I have a campsite reserved) on the 8th so I can leave early AM on the 9th have time to drop by Red Rocks to pick up my free CO shirt, and make it to Copper early that day. The Brew Swap is Thurs. night.

Seen your screen name before, are you on 'sotaminis as well?

I was thinking of taking the scenic route out there first, and then head straight back that Monday.

I just started a new job so I'm hoping they will let me have the time off

Maybe we could motor back home together or something?

I've posted there a few times. I've not been to any events because I always have conflicts!

I'm camping in Rocky Mountain National Park & Devils Tower WY on my way back - I'm taking the scenic route on the way home - I've got it all planned out.

Oh well, I'll see you out there!
