MITM ~ New SWAG options!

Watch this space for information on the 'homespun swag' that will be available to you at MITM. Orderable in advance (and payable in advance) these items go along with the various events you will enjoy at MITM2. The things you will have to choose from are:
  1. BMGC Blue Mountain Goat Club Swag aka Midnight on Mt. Evans - Only for the adventuresome who adventure up Mt. Evans. Likely t-shirts only.
  2. MBS Mountain BrewSwap Swag - For anyone who wants. Likely to be t-shirts only but there is a chance on the hats.
  3. MITM Hats, as we did last year. Round logo this year (kind of a grille badge for the head) and a good looking color too. Hats only.
  4. Western Dragon Swagon - Yes, the coolest of them all. Likely to be on shirts only since hats do not accomodate this shape well.
Stay tuned for more choices...and ordering info, right here.

Note: There is one already uploaded in the "Afraid of the Dark" thread...

Jonathan

Adam, I have one of everything for you....

No, the year will not appear this year. Future versions may, depending on my mood when I set them up.

For now, consider that the versions without the 'year' are the, um, inaugural ones.

Collectors items, so to speak.

Man, can't make it cross country, but I would love that Midnight shirt. That's pretty cool! Where can we get the shirts by themselves?

Jason, keep an eye on this thread

because advance orders will start soon. At this time, all Swag is planned to be delivered at MITM itself and I have no plans to mail, since I am not in the postal business.

But a few kind words might change my mind.

Just watch here, ordering instructions will apprear soon.

Jonathan,

Have you thought about a polar fleece option for some of us that are always a little chilly? (Maybe in the Blue Mountain Goat or Western Dragon?)

Pretty please with a big ol' fat cherry on top??? Those shirts are too sweet not to go all around!!!! I know you could sell a ton, and maybe it could be beneficial enough to make it worth the while...

I'm going to do the Midnight run this year, I didn't go last year as I was camping out in the rain with my dogs--whoohoo. I'm going to need a Goat T-shirt this time (and a hotel room )

I do believe you are right Batman. Jonathan has the final word on that. But if paid a premium I would pick one up for someone. I will be there both nights. No sunrise runs for me. Sleeping in Saturday and Sunday.

Sounds good for swag, I think a new hat would be nice, what color hats are going to be available with the patch/logo/badge?

I do like the idea of a large or xl polar fleece, pehaps a special order-signup at the event? Paid at time of order of course. I know, mailing is a pain in the backside.

Don S. Only a week to go, I hope.

You all must think I am in the swag business.

I am not. I am in the insurance business and the investment business and the retirement planning business and the money business, and that has nothing to do with Swag. A couple of things:
  • I am not in the swag business. Did I mention that?
  • I do this MINI thing for fun
  • So far, it has been fun
  • If you ask for too much, it will no longer be fun
  • If I spend too much time on it, it will no longer be fun
  • If I take a financial bath, it will no longer be fun
  • When it ceases to be fun, I cease to do it.
  • I want to continue to have fun
  • You all have some good ideas. Many of them sound like work. They call it 'work' for a reason. Work not the same as fun. Check the synonym dictionary.
As of now, there will be t-shirts. And once I have final prices, there will be a VERY small window, since I will need 30 days for production (about July 4 to August 4) which means that, once I take orders, it will be time to send in a check if you want an order. Again, I am not in the postal service business so I really never had plans to mail anything. I am not saying I won't, I am just not inviting that.

Please understand, we all want to have fun.....and as soon as one of the playmates ceases to have fun, he goes home and the party ends. So let's keep having fun.

I agree. I think the idea of BMG Midnight shirts only available on Mt. Evans at Midnight a great plan. Saturday morning when everyone is wearing their shirts we will all know who is not afraid of the dark!

Now THAT is a plan

So be it. MOME shirts will be delivered at the top...and all you night-runners can show them off the next day...or two. I will not show the actual shirt before that time, other than the graphic.

Promise, you will like it.

And so it is.

No fuss, no problem

But I know my own limitations and with MITM less than 60 days out....and 30 days for production....we have to move fast.

And I have not even given you prices yet.

Let's go with the shirts and, if possible, other options. Note that there will be MITM hats too, like last year, so really we have already branched out.

What I really appreciate is the interest....

Oooooo I can't wait. And you know me, I would love to see hats and badges and even window stickers. But I will just chuck out ideas for next year. =P I just don't know if my g/f would want one. I think she might like the goat shirt, but I will have to ask. Its funny. Now I have to think of HER when I buy MINI stuff. Hehehehe.

So shirts and hats. Works fine.

Looking forward to anything you bring up. From your post it appears to be lots of work just doing all the prep work for MITM2, so I appreciate all the efforts you making to have great swag for us attendees.

Of course, it would help if my MCSa does get delivered this week. Hummmm.

Don S.

You may need HELP transporting the merchendise to

the TOP.... I am extending Miles's back seat and boot to help get the secret shirts to the top. It sounds as if there may be many making the trip. Just to keep the fun in things I'll help you out if you need Captain J.
I really like the idea of making the trip up to receive the shirt to show off the next day. Kinda like a reward.

Batman
<><

Really, let me know if I can help. I'm planning on driving out Wednesday and could and would stop off somewhere and help ya transport some good. I promise I won't peek.
