Really sad
I'm sorry to hear your dog is not with us anymore. I had a dog named Midgi for 17 years and she died of just plain "old age" I promosed I would never have another dog because I did not think any other dog could replace her. I was sad and devistated.
Along comes my neighbors adopting a corgi from Corgi rescue in Tampa. They brought him home and he found my dog door. He came into my house every day and they had to come get him and carry him home when they wanted to see him. To make a long story short he adopted me and when my neighbors moved they gave me the dog.
I love him as much as I did Midgi. They all have different personalties and I still think of Midgi at times but Mario has filled my life with joy.
I'm hoping you will get another dog soon. It won't make you forget about your old buddy but it will fill a void in your life that you know is missing.
It is really to bad a dogs lifespan does not match ours.
