Ambient temp sensor & harness...

A few weeks ago the temp on the OBC showed -40 degrees and it was determined that there was a problem with the ambient temp sensor.

I stopped by the local dealership to buy a replacement but it cannot be installed because the female module that's attached to the wiring harness has been worn away due to dragging on the roadway.

(I have an Aero bumper and apparently there isn't anywhere for the ambient temp sensor to "snap" to, and it somehow cam loose and was dragging on the roadway.)

I need to know if anyone has had to replace the female module/harness and if it's pretty straightforward or challenging.

I do have soldering skills...

I'm picking up the female module/harness later today.
