Reappearing Upholstery Stains
Howdy. I have used a lot of the information gleaned from this website on my 2006 JCW very successfully. I am having a problem with my wife's Subaru. It was purchased as a rental return from a dealer. It seems there was some water damage to the upholstery and water marks keep reappearing. We have tried upholstery cleaner to no avail. The marks were not visible when we purchased the car a couple of years ago, but are quite prominent now. They seem to be dark lines over the light tan fabric, especially in the back seat. Is there a detailing solution, or should we just go with seat covers. We can't afford another car at this point.
