I think the images are a bit dark. A good idea would be to have used a longer shutter speed and a smaller aperture. Turn off the lights and use a light burst, a quick flash from the camera so the lights won't over power the camera since the shutter will be on for a length of time. This will light up the car a little more even though the shutter is still open.

This is how a lot of low lever light images and lighting shots are done.

The best thing to ever come out of digital photos is the ability to see what the picture looks like right when its taken so you know how to correct aperture and shutter speed.
