Using epic, Did I do something wrong, or is it getting old?
After seeing Nick's email on getting the cars ready for the fall / winter, I decided to put a fresh coat of Epic on my car. I shook the bottle well, and used my PC with the red pad to apply. When it was time to take it off, it required significant effort. What did I do wrong? or is my 2 year old bottle of Epic just not the same?
Here was my process.
I washed it Saturday night, dried it, and left it in the garage til morning.
Clayed the car using Griots Speedshine and Clay.
I wiped it dry, and applied Griots Paint Prep to clean off any residue.
Using my PC and a red pad, I applied a very thin coat of Epic
Waited 60 minutes
Worked up quite a sweat, wiping off the Epic haze with microfiber towel
It looks good, but took too much work.
