A Noob Figures Out An Easy Way To Claybar The Car!!
Last year, as part of my obsession with this car, I bought the stuff to claybar my paint. But when I tried it out, I was completely intimidated by the process. The claybar jumped around and felt like it was scuffing the surface. I was so afraid I would damage the paint that I stopped and put the stuff in the back of the closet.
Last weekend, I got my courage up, re-read the instructions, and decided to try it out while I was washing the car. I soaped up a panel, rinsed it off, then re-soaped. Then I sprayed the lubricant. The claybar worked like a charm. I actually enjoyed doing it this time!
So, if anyone else has felt uneasy about claying the paint on your car, give this method a try. It was quick, easy, and the paint looks great!
