Using a carnuba with a Porter Cable... "fling"

So I have been tinkering with my 7424XP and a red pad, applying my S100 via the Porter Cable vs by hand with a mf pad. The problem I have, which really isn't a problem, is how to apply the S100 to the pad without getting a ton of "fling" while applying the wax.

The look of the paint after I buff the wax is friggin amazing, so I am willing to deal with it, but I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas on a better process?

And no, I am not going to switch to BG.
