Be careful on these and any towels you might get at Wal-Mart. They vary widely in quality and may mar your clearcoat.
Have you done the CD test? Try using your towel to rub on the data (music) side of an un-needed CD. If you see scratches afterward, these same scratches will happen in your clearcoat! This test is usually the best way to determine quality on towels.
Have you tried
PakShak towels? They have great quality and decent prices. Nothing like what you found at Costco, but they're great quality and long-lasting. Be careful, because they'll give you a great deal if you don't watch out, and you'll wind up with 10 more towels than you meant to
