Thumper TP2 head blog with video

As some of you aware Mike sent us a head to do some testing and see what we can get out of it in the way of performance on the dyno and on the track.

As you can see from the dyno sheet comparing the RMW head and tune on Big Shows car and the Thumper head and Chris tune on 1320’s Mini, it stacks up pretty good.

We still need to do some more testing off combos as and when we can but we have achieved the following so far.

Both the slicks and the drag radials are past they sell by date, also the track isn’t that great this time of year.

We’ll have some new slicks for the start of the Euro Sport Compact 1st round

We’ll keep this thread update through the year as we test and try new parts with the Thumper head.

Our next race date is 21st March 09 for testing without nitrous and then on the 22nd March is our 1st round of the Euro Sport Compact series where a small shot of nitrous will be activated.
