Baked on cosmoline....

Ok, only 3rd time to detail since I've had Astro, but now I've got the dreaded cosmoline weepage at both points up front, left and right.

I have already read all the threads. Nothing has worked:

Goo gone, nope.
Engine degreaser, nope.
Vinylex, nope.
Auto shampoo, nope.
Paint cleaner, nope.
Tarminator, nope.

On one drip that is a nice single stripe, I did use a toothbrush and goo gone for a bit longer, now I have a lovely white haze around the goo. Sucks.

Have not yet tried hot water or steam, but open for suggestions. This stuff is really baked on hard.

I did use engine degreaser on a wet cloth and got most of the remnants off the underside of the bonnet though. Maybe I'll let it go a few more months, then replace the fender trim. Ouch.

Thanks.
