Drought Declaration Detailing/Car Washing Strategies

Here in CA Herr Governator has declared a drought. It is suspected that one result of this edict will be limitations on car washing (not to mention another attempt to push a peripheral canal to dewater Northern California in favor of Southern California). Many of you have gone through drought conditions and declarations. Any tips on getting and/or keeping the Cooper clean under these circumstances?
