OK, I tried something. The bottle of Zaino tire dressing says it's safe to use on rubber (of course) and also on plastic (as in trim). So I did just that. I did the black plastic trim with it. Too shiny (glossy) and attracted too much dust. Bummer. I'm going back to Armor All (I know, horror of horrors). All I can say is the Armor All is the best stuff I've found yet for the black trim. It's not overly shiny/glossy looking as one might expect.
