Well this is just the prototype, but I think this is going to work well. I used composite decking so rot is not an issue, plus it has some weight to it, helps keep it stable.

I still need to refine it somewhat, round over all edges, let the cross members into the rails, bolt rather than screw the caster on. But I think this will work. With the buckets,materials cost about $60.

It rolls great, even on an uneven surface, and the bucket handles work for pulling it around.
