I do not have a microfiber bonnet for the PC so I was thinking of simply keeping a microfiber cloth between the PC and the paint...anyone tried this technique when buffing off zaino?

As a long time user of Zaino, AND of machines, I'd advise against using a machine with any Zaino product. A couple of reasons come to mind. Machines generate heat. I don't know how that would affect the polymer chains in Zaino, but I can't imagine it would be of any benefit. Lots of benefit for carnuba and other waxes that might 'melt' into the paint, though. Another negative is that a machine might take off more of the layer of Zaino you just applied, and these layers are very thin to start with. And screwing up with a machine can turn a simple wax job into a very expensive repaint And finally, it's just too easy to introduce swirls with a machine, no matter how careful we are... don't ask me how I know
