There are a few ways to get "pictures" of the icons..

1- use the screen shot feature on the Nuvi. See your Nuvi manual for doing this- the steps might be different for your version.. But for mine it is under Tools, Settings, Display, Screenshot, Enable. This puts an icon on the display that you can touch to take a screen shot of what ever is showing.. and it saves it to a special directory on the Nuvi. This might be the fastest & lest computer involved method.

2-Take the srf file to the conversion site and convert to png format.
Then use a free image editor like GIMP to crop from the 72 different views to the one or two that you want.

The person helping me with the server files is trying to do this as part of a new layout for each of the icon files.. But as you can imagine, this will take some time to get setup..
