We are considering having a raffle for a nice set of rims. No, not those horrid horseshoe rims! Perish the thought! I would just like to gauge interest in this. What would YOU consider a fair price for a chance to win a set of new rims? Would you be interested in this?

It doesn't look like anyone's mentioned anything about this yet... I think it'd be a cool idea. Raffle's are always decent money-raisers. I dont have a clue about pricing though.
ok, well if that won't work, it would probably depend on the price of the wheels. That said, I would say definitely no more than five dollars.
Would you be willing to pay $10 for a chance to win a $500 gift certificate from Tire Rack?

I personally think $10 would be a lot for a raffle...
me too, not that it wouldn't be worth it, but that is a lot of money for most people to give up to chance. Mostly, at least for me, it is because it is completely random. I have no control over the outcome, so I am most likely throwing $10 away. I think a lot of people would feel the same way.
It's just a lot to pay for an all or nothing raffle. That being said, it's a great idea, and I realize it takes a lot of money to put this together, I just think that you would get more entries if the price was lower.
Good luck.

Raffles I've seen at school and Church events or outright fund raisers have been $5 each. The only $10s I've seen have been for cars. I think $5 would bring in a lot more people than $10.
Ok, the public has spoken. The raffle tickets for the Tire Rack Gift Certificate will be $5.00 each!
